Isolated bulkhead adaptors

Micro BNC & DIN 1.0/2.3

COAX have introduced isolated bulkhead adaptors to their Micro BNC (HD BNC) and DIN 1.0/2.3 series.

These bulkhead adaptors have a metal threaded bush that is insulated from the outer conductor which allows them to be fitted to metal mounting panels with each line being isolated from the others.  Using these adaptors eliminates the need to use a separate insulating bush and the metal thread maintains the mounting strength.

By using these Micro BNC and DIN 1.0/2.3 adaptors, which can be mounted on a 9mm pitch, it is possible to fit 96 to a single 1U panel which makes them a compact, space saving, alternative to standard BNC connectors.  Micro BNC use a simple bayonet coulpling, whilst DIN 1.0/2.3 are push-pull.

When used in broadcast applications the Micro BNC adaptors can be used for UHD tranmissions as they meet the requirements of SMPTE standard ST 2082-1 for 12G-SDI video.
